About the Japan Forum for Future Strategic Initiative (JFFSI)
Today, we stand at a monumental turning point marked by comprehensive, fundamental, and civilization-scale crises. Gaps and divisions are widening across generations, nations, and regions. Discussions on factual perceptions often end up running on parallel tracks. To resolve these pressing challenges, it is vital to focus our perspective on the future and collaboratively envision shared principles: empathy, coexistence, mutual prosperity, and shared righteousness.
Furthermore, it is crucial that we, as active citizens, choose viable scenarios and take concrete action. We established this forum as an open platform where people can freely engage in dialogue across partisan lines, ideologies, national borders, and all other barriers.

The greatest blind spot of contemporary Japan is the lack of a cohesive global worldview, an absence of value-driven perspectives concerning the purpose of individuals and collectives, and a diminishing sense of civic self-reliance regarding what must be done. Our forum seeks to understand our nation's mission from a global and comprehensive perspective, striving to leave a lasting, honorable mark on the history of civilization.
Our Mission: "Nurturing Leaders Who Can Contribute to the Global Community"
An urgent priority for our nation is cultivating young leaders equipped with a truly global vision. We advocate for the establishment of an elite educational institution representing Asia—tentatively named the "International Leadership University (Peace University)"—and propose making international volunteer initiatives, carried out in partnership with Japan, South Korea, and China, a national policy. Our forum is actively working toward these preparations in collaboration with motivated individuals and organizations.
